Our Learning Centres

Classrooms like no other

The Kitchen Garden Foundation delivers workshops and training in unique learning environments - our Learning Centre and Kitchen Garden Demonstration Schools.

The Kitchen Garden Learning Centre

The Kitchen Garden Learning Centre is the ideal location for hands-on training and skills development for food educators, keen gardeners, passionate foodies and children. It exemplifies the core philosophy that underpins the Kitchen Garden Program and the Kitchen Garden Foundation. It is a place for exchanging ideas, developing skills and bringing together the passionate people who play an important role in changing the ways we think and learn about food.

Located at Collingwood College in central Melbourne, the Learning Centre encompasses a beautiful, productive teaching garden and a fully equipped teaching kitchen, replicating a Kitchen Garden School setting and enabling participants to engage in authentic learning and hands-on professional development.

Learning Centres in our Kitchen Garden Demonstration Schools

The Foundation maintains workshop and training venues in every state and territory in Australia - our Kitchen Garden Demonstration Schools.

Based in each capital city, these schools showcase the Kitchen Garden Program and provide state and territory hubs for the Program throughout the country. Kitchen Garden School training is conducted in these schools, using the facilities built and maintained for students in kitchen and garden classes. This ensures participants understand the real-life impact of the Kitchen Garden Program and engage fully with the Program in a school environment.

Our Kitchen Garden Demonstration Schools are as follows.
