List of Participating Schools
There are currently 137 participating Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program schools, located around Australia, as follows:
Twenty-seven Victorian primary schools have been delivering the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program to their students since 2007.
Twenty-four of these schools are the recipients of part-funding from the Victorian Government through the 'Go for your life' health strategy. The Foundation, in partnership with the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and philanthropic trusts and individuals, supports the Kitchen Garden Program at three additional schools: Collingwood College, Nunawading Primary School and Yarrunga Primary School.
In September 2008, 22 new 'Go for your life' Kitchen Garden Project with Stephanie Alexander schools were announced. They began implementing the Program in 2009.
In 2009 the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden National Program commenced, with 41 schools around Australia being granted funds from the National Government to implement the Program. To support these schools, six Demonstration Schools were also founded across Australian states and territories.
2010 sees the addition of 47 schools to the Kitchen Garden Program community, through Round 2 of the National Program.
