Toomelah Public School is a 'strong and smart' school that has an enrolment of approximately 60 students across K to 6, all of whom are Aboriginal. The school is situated in the heart of the Toomelah Aboriginal Community on the NSW/QLD border. We strive to promote high expectations, empowerment and a sense of pride and achievement in all our students. In essence we want to ensure that every student at Toomelah PS has the same choices and options available in life, as every other person in NSW and Australia.
