The motto of Gwynneville Primary School is 'A Caring School' and this underlies the essential elements of the school's philosophy. The school community and Parents and Citizens Committee is involved in the progress and development of the school. The multicultural nature of the school is unique. A significant number of overseas children have parents who are either students or lecturers at Wollongong University.
