Vale Park Primary School, located in the Walkerville Council area, is a short walk to the River Torrens and a few minutes from the Adelaide city centre by car. As a growing school our aim is to provide the best possible learning opportunities for our diverse students from R-7. Areas of improvement focus are literacy, numeracy and implementing the Australian Curriculum. We are recognised for our innovative approach in the use of information technologies across the curriculum. Specialist subject areas are physical education, Japanese and performing arts. Active involvement in, and a school commitment to quality evidence-based teacher professional development is resulting in ongoing improvements to pedagogy in all classrooms. We offer excellent facilities for learning, and spacious grounds, oval and gymnasium which are well utilised by the local community.
