Banksia Park Primary School opened in 1964 as separate primary (Years 3 to 7) and junior primary schools before amalgamating in 1994 to become an R to 7 school. The school is located within the Tea Tree Gully council area adjacent to the Banksia Park Family Kindergarten and within walking distance to Banksia Park International High School. The school is well-resourced and set in attractive, well-maintained grounds.
