At Elizabeth East Primary School, Reception to Year 7, we strive towards providing a safe, positive, caring and supportive environment that gives all learners the chance to experience success, to achieve their personal best and contribute positively to the community now and in the future. The school values are respect, responsibility and excellence. The school has a range of curriculum including specialist teaching in junior primary PE, and R to 7 science and drama. We place an emphasis on literacy and numeracy, exemplified by block time devoted to these curriculum areas. We run some student-learning programs in conjunction with UniSA. The school works conjointly with outside agencies and nearby schools in the 'Family Learning Network', a program of social support. Children have the opportunity to participate in sporting carnivals including state programs. When student needs are such, we access additional support from our area office. We have a dedicated computer suite for full class operations and a well-equipped resource centre. Further, each classroom has a number of computers and many classrooms with interactive whiteboards.
