Kitchen Garden Week
Kitchen Garden Week, October 2008, was an inaugural celebration of the movement bringing growing, harvesting, preparing & sharing to primary school children across Australia, an opportunity for The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation and participating schools to welcome the community into the Kitchen Garden Program and share our learning.
From 6–13 October 2008 the Foundation and 27 participating schools hosted a range of activities including:

- an inaugural Conference – The Kitchen Garden Classroom
- individual school activities
- a Dinner Auction.
