Elizabeth Downs Primary School cookbook 'A Wander down the Garden Path' isa joint venture between the Kitchen and Garden Specialists, School Leadership and staff, plus a generous printing company. It showcases a host of recipes used in kitchen classes during 2010 and has become a fantastic fundraising item for the Kitchen Garden Program at the school. View »Palmyra PS' spring sentinels
Students at Palmyra PS in WA prepared for the school holidays by designing and building sentinels to oversee their young spring garden in their absence. By collecting bits and pieces from a recent roadside bulk rubbish collection, the students were able to design and build an army of scarecrows.

Murringo Primary School, in NSW, is a super-keen Kitchen Garden School. They kicked off their garden in 2008, before receiving funding through the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden National Program in 2009. Since then they have gone from strength to strength - expanding their garden, building their kitchen, supporting other schools, and embracing the Program wholeheartedly.
