Launch at Westfield Park
Minister for Health and Ageing, the Honorable Nicola Roxon, attended the launch of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program at Westfield Park Primary School in Perth, accompanied by Federal Member Don Randall and Local Member Alannah MacTiernan.
Westfield Park Principal, Tim Sewell was also joined at the launched by Kitchen Garden Foundation CEO Ange Barry, parents, teachers and the wider school community, as well as representatives from neighboring SAKGF schools.
The school conducted a tour of their new facilities and garden space, which includes an extensive aquaponics system, and enjoyed lovely food prepared by the children in their newly completed kitchen.
