Proud new partner Neutrog Australia

The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation is very pleased to announce our new partnership with Neutrog Australia, an innovative South Australian company specialising in organic fertilisers.

This original arrangement will see Neutrog supporting our Kitchen Garden Program with up to $50,000 annually and by providing free fertiliser product and fundraising opportunities to participating schools. The partnership was launched in by Stephanie Alexander and Angus Irwin, Managing Director of Neutrog at Bridgewater Primary School in South Australia with an initial $10,000 donation to the Foundation.

To celebrate this great new relationship, Neutrog launched a national competition to name a new organic vegetable fertiliser currently in development. The winning entrant will receive $500 and $2500 for their nominated school. The competition has recently closed with over 1500 entries – we can't wait to hear the winning entry!

The yet-to-be-named premium fertiliser will then be sold through retail outlets nationally and generously made available free to Kitchen Garden Schools to use on their gardens and at a discounted rate as a fundraising tool, along with specialist education on using organic fertilisers.

The Foundation itself will receive 5% of royalties from retail sales of the new product. These funds are a great boon to our Kitchen Garden Program and help increase our capacity to support participating schools nationally.

We give hearty thanks to Neutrog for its very generous support of our Kitchen Garden Program. We look forward to sharing a wonderful relationship over many years to come – welcome to the Kitchen Garden Community!
