National Program Applications OPEN!
04-09-2012The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation has some very exciting news to share with the kitchen garden community.
Online applications are now OPEN for all schools with a primary curriculum to join the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden National Program!
The recent announcement by the Australian Government of further funding for the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden National Program heralds a new era in the way the Foundation can support schools to deliver the Program.
Now all government and non-government schools with a primary curriculum are eligible to join the Kitchen Garden National Program. This further investment by the Australian Government, which will run until 2015, will enable the Foundation to make the Program more accessible, affordable and flexible for Australian government and now also non-government schools with a primary curriculum.

To explain the changes to the Program delivery, we are offering a series of public, online Information Sessions. These sessions are open to all members of school communities across Australia and are free of charge. Bookings are essential. Click here to find out more about these informative sessions.
Kitchen Garden School Bus Tours are being held in Adelaide, Brisbane & Gold Coast, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. These tours are a good opportunity to see the Program in action and talk to schools and Foundation staff, but are not mandatory to join the Program.
