Yarra Primary's day in the kitchen and garden

Committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, Yarra PS is a thriving Kitchen Garden School. Since its inception in 2007, the Kitchen Garden Program has become a feature of the school, encouraging social, physical, moral and intellectual development in the children, and is a source of pride for the local community.

The beautiful Yarra PS garden has won state garden awards, while kitchen classes have inspired students and parents to hold regular cake and preserve stalls at the Collingwood Children's Farm Farmers' Market.
