New Victorian Kitchen Garden Schools

We are thrilled to announce another 12 primary schools from around Victoria who have just joined the kitchen garden community! We extend a warm welcome to the following schools, who all received a Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Victorian Program grant care of the Victorian State Government.

• Goroke P-12 College
• Kingswood Primary School
• Montmorency South Primary School
• Rowville Primary School
• Terang College
• Wooragee Primary School

Wooragee Primary School is ecstatic to become a Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden School. Receiving the grant will enable us to fully implement a real-life program that will make a significant difference to our community and each child in our school. The Victorian State Government provided a further $1.1 million in this third round of funding, which covers the wages of the Kitchen Specialist and Garden Specialist - staff who are essential to the Kitchen Garden Program.
