Stephanie awarded 2009 Social Entrepreneur of the Year
27-07-2009

Stephanie Alexander's enormous contribution to Australian cultural, culinary and educational development was recognised again recently when she was named the Ernst & Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year for the Southern Region.

The Australian Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year program is conducted annually across five regions and culminates in a national awards program. The overall Australian Entrepreneur of the Year winner, announced at the national awards, goes on to represent Australia at the World Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in Monte Carlo. Stephanie will participate in a rigorous judging process over the coming months and join other regional winners to compete at a national level.

The Foundation is thrilled to receive the support and recognition of Ernst & Young and the broader business community through this award. Our fingers are crossed for a visit to Monte Carlo!
