Hey kids! Take the fruit and vegetable Gutsy Challenge!
20-07-2010
For the month of September, the Gutsy Challenge will silence arguments around dinner tables right across the country, as kids tell their parents they need to eat more fruit and vegetables!
Kids can take the Gutsy Challenge and eat two pieces of fruit and four serves of vegetables every day for a whole week in September... even better if you've grown them yourselves, of course! The Challenge helps kids put healthy eating habits into practice and also raises sponsorship money for digestive cancer research.
The Gutsy Challenge website has heaps of online activities and games to support the challenge, with characters Gutsy, Gastro Girl and Flex travelling through the digestive system and providing information on nutrition along the way.
The Kitchen Garden Foundation is supporting the Gutsy Challenge in the interests of the long-term wellbeing of Australian children.
