Learning Centre officially opened!
09-11-2011Federal Minister for Education Peter Garrett AM MP and Stephanie Alexander officially opened our Learning Centre on Tuesday 8 November. The Learning Centre, located at Collingwood College, forms the heart of the expansion of the Kitchen Garden Program across Australia into primary schools and helps deliver the philosophy of the Kitchen Garden Program to the public.

Newman’s Own Foundation supports our work!
20-10-2011The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation is delighted announce it has just received a $100,000 grant from the Newman’s Own Foundation! The popular TV chef, author and Foundation Ambassador Ian Parmenter nominated the Foundation to receive this grant as part of the Paul Newman’s Own 10 Chefs $1 Million Charity Campaign. The funds received will support our Kitchen Garden Specialist Mentoring Project in Western Australia.

19-10-2011We are absolutely delighted to announce KitchenAid® as a new Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program Partner! This exciting, long-term partnership will see KitchenAid donate selected equipment to Kitchen Garden Schools for the next three years. This product donation will be supported by training and advice on how to best use the equipment with students in kitchen classes.
