Learning Centre officially opened!

Federal Minister for Education Peter Garrett AM MP and Stephanie Alexander officially opened our Learning Centre on Tuesday 8 November. The Learning Centre, located at Collingwood College, forms the heart of the expansion of the Kitchen Garden Program across Australia into primary schools and helps deliver the philosophy of the Kitchen Garden Program to the public.

Newman’s Own Foundation supports our work!

The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation is delighted announce it has just received a $100,000 grant from the Newman’s Own Foundation! The popular TV chef, author and Foundation Ambassador Ian Parmenter nominated the Foundation to receive this grant as part of the Paul Newman’s Own 10 Chefs $1 Million Charity Campaign. The funds received will support our Kitchen Garden Specialist Mentoring Project in Western Australia.

This exciting, long-term partnership will see KitchenAid donate selected equipment to Kitchen Garden Schools for the next three years.
