Newman’s Own Foundation supports our work!
20-10-2011The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation is delighted announce it has just received a $100,000 grant from the Newman’s Own Foundation! The popular TV chef, author and Foundation Ambassador Ian Parmenter nominated the Foundation to receive this grant as part of the Paul Newman’s Own 10 Chefs $1 Million Charity Campaign. The funds received will support our Kitchen Garden Specialist Mentoring Project in Western Australia.

GPT Kitchen Garden Week 2011
26-09-2011The inaugural GPT Kitchen Garden Week at GPT shopping centres has just launched and we’re celebrating! We opened the first GPT Kitchen Garden Week on Thursday 22 September at the Rouse Hill Town Centre Community Kitchen Garden in Sydney’s North West. Kitchen Garden Week will be an annual celebration of the partnership between the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation and The GPT Group and in 2011 will run from 24 September to 2 October across six GPT retail centres in NSW and Victoria.

Spring garden workshops for successful kitchen gardens
