Q: What’s the difference between Kitchen Garden Schools and Kitchen Garden Subscribers?
A:
To date, the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program has been made available to schools with a primary enrolment through Victorian Government and Australian Government funding. Kitchen Garden Schools complete an extensive application process and are awarded funding to assist with infrastructure and implementation. They have a structure and plan in place to embed the Program into their school and the school curriculum. Ongoing support from the Kitchen Garden Foundation team is provided to ensure the Program is effectively rolled out to the whole school community. They also receive various discounts from Foundation Partners to assist with the running of the Program. These schools are officially branded as Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program Schools.
