Grants to kick-start your kindergarten kitchen garden

Friday, April 1, 2016

The Victorian Government Children’s Facilities Program could be just what your kindergarten needs to kick-start your Kitchen Garden Classroom membership and dig into pleasurable food education.

The Victorian Government is offering Minor Infrastructure Refurbishment Grants of up to $10,000 to contribute towards the cost of improving any indoor or outdoor spaces used by children attending a funded kindergarten program.

The grants offer an exciting opportunity for kindergartens to dig into pleasurable food education and enjoy a fresh approach to hands on learning when they join the Kitchen Garden Classroom. Applications for Minor Grants close on 16 May 2016.

For more information about the grants, read the Victorian Government media release or visit the Children’s Facilities Program website for details on how to apply.
