Milyakburra School is located in the very remote community of Milyakburra on Bickerton Island, approximately 640km southeast of Darwin and 40km off the Arnhem Land coast in the Gulf of Carpentaria. Milyakburra School is part of the Arnhem Group School and provides education to students from early years to middle years. The school serves an important role in the community and school activities attract participation from parents and members of the wider community.
