Croydon Special Developmental School develops and implements innovative programs for students aged between 2.8 and 18 years of age with developmental delay or moderate to severe intellectual disability. We value respect, responsibility, teamwork, positive attitudes, diversity and opportunities for continuous learning. Educational programs are inline with the VELS curriculum and also take into consideration the Dandenong Valley Curriculum Prelevel 1. In partnership with parents, teachers and a multi disciplinary therapy team, each child has goals developed for an Individual Education Plan. Emphasis is on developing communication and independent living skills. This school has 53.4 equivalent full time staff: 3 Principal class, 15.0 teachers, 35.4 Education Support Staff.
