Yinnar South Primary School is situated approximately 160 kilometres east of Melbourne in central Gippsland in the picturesque foothills of the Strzelecki Ranges, 8 kilometres from Yinnar and 12 kilometres from Churchill. The school has been proudly serving the changing needs of the local community since 1886. There are 11 students enrolled and attending the school. The school has an excellent range of facilities and buildings including the original school building , 2 classroom spaces, a library, artcraft area and a (community) hall. Each student has an individual computer to work from.
