St Macartan's is a large Catholic primary school located on the Morington Peninsula. The school has an enrolment of approximately 500 students with many families on a waiting list. The school has a 111 year history with the Sisters of Mercy, with the school and parish maintaining strong ties with the order. In 2009 St Macartan's relocated to Bungower Rd as the school had outgrown the Tanti Ave site. The school is a modern facility, catering for the needs of the students learning in the 21st Century. The school has received design and sustainability awards in the short time that it has been opened. The school's sustainability platform has been embedded in our teaching and learning sphere.
