Ipswich West Special School is a state special school which aims to assist students to develop the knowledge, skills, attributes and values necessary for fulfilling participation in home, school and community life. Within small group programs focused upon individual needs, we provide students with multiple opportunities to develop and demonstrate knowledge, skills and understanding of the Essential Learnings as well as addressing disability specific issues within the areas of communication, social participation and emotional well-being, health and personal care, safety, and access to learning.
