Details
This training is designed specifically for new Kitchen Specialist and Garden Specialist staff members joining established Kitchen Garden Schools, who will deliver your school's kitchen and garden classes.
If you have recently attended our Program Delivery Training then we do not recommend this training for you. Please consider our Professional Development Workshops instead, which provide opportunities for fun, skilled workshops that extend your knowledge even further, and are a great way of networking with other people working within the Program.
This training will help Specialists develop and deepen their knowledge and understanding of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program philosophy and delivery. It concentrates on learning hands-on techniques, but also include sessions on practical skills development such as advanced planning. This is the ideal training to take the Kitchen Garden Program to the next level of garden productivity and to develop inspired kitchen menus.
We look forward to working with you!
Additional Details
There are hands-on sessions included in the day, so please wear closed shoes and have clothing suitable for a short session in the garden.
