Join Maggie to view kitchen and garden classes in action, speak to Foundation staff and school staff, and enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch.

This is an inspirational day that showcases the beautiful and productive school gardens as well as the home-style kitchens, and gives participants a chance to get closer to the Program in action.

The tours are suitable for staff from interested schools and new Kitchen Garden Schools, as well as our Subscribers and interested members of the public.

Additional Details

The tour begins at Kilkenny Primary School - please do not park in the carpark as this is for staff only, but in surrounding streets, or carpool if at all possible.

From there we will visit Woodend Primary School in Sheidow Park (where we will be hosted for lunch), Pimpala Primary School and Aldinga Beach R-7, arriving back at Kilkenny Primary School by 4.45 pm.  

Please bring a notebook and pen, camera, water and snacks; lunch is provided. As we will be visiting school gardens a hat and sunscreen/coat and appropriate footwear are advised.
