Add variety to your school veggie patch and plate with some under-used Asian crops that are easy – and very interesting – to grow and harvest. Seila Hierk is a very experienced and passionate grower of Asian crops and has also worked as a Garden Specialist in several Kitchen Garden Schools (currently at Aspendale PS). Everyone who attends one of Seila's workshops comes away amazed at all they have learnt and inspired by Seila's enthusiam and generious sharing spirit.

In this workshop Seila will focus on vegetables not usually found in your average nursery, andwill explain the different growing requirements of a variety of Asian crops that anyone can grow in most Victorian gardens. Seila will show you how to surprise yourself and your students by growing almost any vegetable you can find at your local Asian grocer.
