Register for a tour at Chevallum State School on the Sunshine Coast to explore the schools sub-tropical veggie gardens and spend time in their purpose-built four station teaching kitchen where the bountiful harvest is transformed by the students into delicious and nutritious dishes. This tour is suitable for anyone wishing to gain insight into the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.
Online registrations are essential. Please meet outside the Reception of the school – you will be met there by a staff member of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation. The tour runs for approximately 45 minutes – 1 hour, at a cost of $15 per person. All proceeds go to supporting the work of the not-for-profit Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation.
Additional Details
Please bring, as appropriate, a warm coat or a hat and sunscreen, as we spend 20 minutes or so in the garden. You are welcome to take photos for personal use only.Parking is available offsite nearby.
