Are you searching for quick, hardy vegetables to grow and cook with? Look no further than Asian veggies: many are easy to grow, suit small spaces and pots, and are versatile in the kitchen! To celebrate Kitchen Garden Month, we've invited Connie Cao, urban permaculture gardener and author of Your Asian Veggie Patch, to share her knowledge and passion with the kitchen garden community.

Details

During this National Kitchen Garden Month bonus offering, Connie will share:

  • her favourite Asian veggies (including long beans, water spinach, lemongrass, sweet potato and loofah)
  • growing tips to ensure a bumper harvest
  • and how she likes to cook with them.

Meet our guest speaker:

Connie Cao holds a Diploma of Sustainable Living and a Permaculture Design Certificate, and grows over 100 varieties of vegetables, herbs, fruit and flowers in her backyard. She's out-smarted snails, slugs and any number of other pests with resourceful solutions, so don't miss this opportunity to troubleshoot your veggie challenges with her.
