We welcome back Titch from Flemings Nurseries for this general guide to the care of fruit trees in your school garden. Join Titch in the orchard for a look at the main issues, including pest and disease control, pruning and fertilising.

Details

This workshop will be led by Titch of Flemings Nurseries, experts on fruit trees and medal winners at the Chelsea Fower Show in 2011. We will focus on the care and maintenance of established fruit trees and combine discussion of the techniques with a hands-on session using existing trees.

Currently in his 26th year with Flemings Nurseries, Titch has done a little bit of everything at the company. From tree work to driving semis delivering across the country, today he plays the important role of the face of Flemings, conducting informative talks and presentations to schools, garden clubs and stores across the country.
