Getting Started is an introductory workshop series that is suitable for anyone new to pleasurable food education, including primary and secondary educators. It is also beneficial for Kitchen Garden programs who have new or additional staff to train.

Join the Kitchen Garden Foundation team for two interactive workshops (1 x 60 minutes and 1 x 120 minutes). Participants will receive collections of supporting resources to study in their own time. Please read these prior to the workshop to get the most out of the session times together.

This workshop series is designed to give participants an insight into the pleasurable food education philosophy, key tips on establishing a garden and kitchen in your school or service, an overview of kitchen and garden experiences and classes, inspiration for linking to learning and how to engage your local community.
