Regional Networking provides Program Coordinators, Kitchen and Garden Specialists and other interested staff from Kitchen Garden Schools the opportunity to meet up, to share their successes to date, network and most importantly to have fun and learn.
Details
This workshop will take the form of a tour of the beautiful kitchens and gardens belonging to 3 of our established local Gold Coast schools. The day will begin at Nerang State School at 09:30am. From there we will move on to visit Burleigh State School, and we will finish the day at Currumbin Community Special School. Lunch is optional but if you wish to participate, please bring $15 to cover the costs.
There will also be plenty of time for networking and discussion, and the day will provide a great opportunity to share ideas with your peers at other local schools. Additionally, we welcome anybody already attending the Special Needs Workshop on May 21st to join us on this day, particularly as we are visiting Currumbin Community Special School.
We will be car-pooling to move between the schools. If you have a spare seat in your car to offer, or would like to request a lift, please contact Mel Schouten at mel@kitchengardenfoundation.org.au to arrange.
Additional Details
We will be outside for some of the day, so please wear appropriate footwear and have sunscreen/hats or coats/umbrellas as appropriate.
