Details
Registrants will be able to choose between growing their kitchen or garden skills in the morning session. The kitchen group will focus on creating fresh, seasonal dishes, while those in the garden will take part in three mini workshops equipping them with the knowledge to create a flourishing, productive garden. Everyone will get the chance to explore the Pleasurable Food Education philosophy in action, and make deep connections to curriculum that go beyond literacy and numeracy.
Nourish yourself with a delicious shared lunch, followed by a guided wellbeing workshop. Then enjoy a cuppa with the kitchen garden community in the afternoon, as you talk through program challenges and successes with Foundation staff. We'll be talking top tips, tools and resources.
You will have the opportunity to meet our new CEO, Cathy Wilkinson and mingle with Stephanie Alexander.
Please select either the kitchen or garden workshop upon registration.
Grow Cook Connect PD will be held on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which we gather to grow, harvest, prepare and share. The Foundation recognises November 11 is Remembrance Day and will hold a minute's silence at 11am to pay our respects.
