This workshop will explain the different growing requirements of a variety of tropical Asian vegetables that anyone can grow in most Victorian gardens. Learn how to propagate any Asian vegetable you can find at your Asian grocer.

Details

This workshop will focus on vegetables not usually found in your average nursery, such as luffa, sugar cane, choko, long gourd, hair gourd, snake bean, yam, sweet potato, water chestnuts, water spinach, Chinese broccoli, amaranth, holy basil and more. Seedlings will be available for sale. Seila Hierk is an experienced and enthusiastic permaculturist and Garden Specialist at Aspendale Gardens Primary School.
