Ingrid Dimock created City Chicks, a backyard chicken supplies business, in 2007 after seeing that families wanted a personal service when selecting the right chickens and setup for their family and backyard. Ingrid breeds over 50 heritage breeds, ducks and other poultry, and supplies her franchises in Sydney, Melbourne, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. With over 300 products available online from a coop to an egg cosy or nappy, she has created a very popular niche business.

Ingrid’s second concept came from her poultry clients wanting interactive growing gardens and, in 2009,  My City Garden was born. The business supplies stingless bee hives, live insect growing kits, super garden bugs, seedling pot makers, cheesemaking kits, mushroom growing kits, compost worms, butterfly gardens and much more to clients all over Australia. See www.citychicks.com.au and www.mycitygarden.com.au for the product range and prepare to be delighted.
