This workshop is a morning session.
Get in quick – places are limited! (Please note one adult must accompany each child.)
Details
There are two sessions available – a morning session or an afternoon session. Each session will focus on a workshop in the garden followed by a workshop in the kitchen.
In the garden workshop, children will dig into basic gardening techniques such as seed propagation and planting, get wriggly with worm farms and go on a minibeast safari. (Rainy day activities will be planned as necessary.) Children will take home their own seeds in decorated pots.
In Stephanie’s workshop, children will look at basic cooking techniques needed to make their own pizza and passata from scratch, learn how to combine fresh ingredients, textures and flavours to make their own seasonal salad, and explore some different flavour combinations in a fresh smoothie. All with newly harvested ingredients and under the guidance of the master herself.
The cooking session will of course be followed by presenting and sharing the dishes made around a communal dining table, and all recipes will be available to take home and share with family and friends.
Please note, each child must be accompanied by an adult (at no extra cost ). The session is most suitable for children aged 7-14, but please do contact our office if your child is younger and might be interested to attend.
