The training covers all elements of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation’s philosophy and delivery. It centres on the hands-on aspect of delivering kitchen and garden classes, but also includes sessions on integrating pleasurable food education, planning menus and creating garden activities, as well as planning classes and incorporating volunteers.
The pricing structure is as follows:
* Kitchen Garden Program Schools: $195
* Kitchen Garden Classroom members*: $250
* Non-members: $400

Each training day is led by an experienced facilitator who will provide opportunities for you to ask questions and discuss your school or centre’s individual circumstances. The day will also feature a delicious shared lunch based on Kitchen Garden Program recipes.

Completing Delivering Kitchen Garden Classes will contribute 5 hours of QTC Registered PD addressing standards 3.2.2, 3.4.2, and 4.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
