This first Regional Meeting for Melbourne Metro South Program Schools and Subscribers is to be held at Heronswood in Dromana. We are currently putting together a program for the day that will be an inspiring, exciting and fun learning experience for all.
Details
Heronswood is home of The Diggers Club, and its stunning garden is a living catalogue of all the evergreen fruits and vegetables described in Diggers catalogues and books. They have over 50 sub-tropical fruits integrated with their flower borders and five separate vegetable gardens. It is within these gardens that they have rescued the best heirloom vegetables.
We will have a guided tour of the gardens and an opportunity to meet with the Heronswood chef to discuss seasonal menu planning, as well as plenty of time to catch up and network.
Additional Details
Please come dressed accordingly for the weather on the day, including wet weather clothes if applicable and sturdy shoes.
Kitchen Garden Subscribers are also invited to attend, but we would like to ask Subscribers a $15 donation on the day to cover the cost of lunch.
