Join the tour to view kitchen and garden classes in action, speak to Foundation staff and school staff, and enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch.

This is an inspirational day that showcases some beautiful and productive school gardens as well as the schools' home-style kitchens, and gives participants a chance to get closer to the Program in action.

The tours are suitable for staff from interested schools and new Kitchen Garden Schools, as well as our Subscribers and interested members of the public.

Additional Details

The tour will begin at Federation Square - there is paid parking at Federation Square but public transport is advisable. Please meet at the corner of Russell Street and Flinders Street. The bus will leave at 9am sharp and return at approximately 4.30pm.

We will visit four of our established Kitchen Garden Schools on this mystery tour, with morning tea around 11am and lunch around 2pm, both of which will be provided by the Kitchen Garden Program at host schools.  

Please bring a notebook and pen, camera, water and snacks; lunch is provided. As we will be visiting school gardens a hat and sunscreen/coat and appropriate footwear are advised.
