Details

Matt Wilkinson is the Culinary Consultant and Creative Director at Montalto on the Mornington Peninsula. He has been a long-term supporter of the Kitchen Garden Program with his children participating in the program at Westgarth Primary School.

Montalto is home to one of Victoria’s largest and oldest Kitchen Gardens. The kitchen garden is now a total of three acres with each area boasting a unique aspect, microclimate and soil profile. All produce areas are farmed using organic and permaculture principles with the kitchen garden is also home to bees, sheep, chickens and goats.

Montalto’s restaurant menu showcases a seasonal celebration of their estate-grown heirloom produce, alongside the very best locally sourced ingredients from across the Mornington Peninsula.
