Tour participants will be able to view kitchen and garden classes in action, speak to Foundation staff and school staff, and enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch.

This is an inspirational day that showcases the beautiful and productive school gardens as well as the home-style kitchens, and gives participants a chance to get closer to the Program in action.

The tours are suitable for staff from interested schools and new Kitchen Garden Schools, as well as our Subscribers and interested members of the public.

Additional Details

The tour begins with a pick-up in Perth at the Tourist Coach Rank, Wellington Street, Perth. From there we will visit East Maddington Primary School, Westfield Park Primary School, Bertram Primary School (where we will be hosted for lunch), Spearwood Alternative School and Palmyra Primary School, arriving back at the original departure point by 5pm.  

Please bring a drink and snacks; lunch is provided. As we will be visiting school gardens a hat and sunscreen/coat and appropriate footwear are advised.

Please note this tour is not suitable for children.
