The Kitchen Garden Program can deliver outcomes for all areas of your primary school curriculum through a fun, hands-on approach to learning.
This one hour Curriculum Integration workshop reflects on what’s already happening in your school and what resources the Foundation has available. Digging deeper into your program is a key way to embed your kitchen garden classes into your school or service.
This interactive-style workshop provides an opportunity for primary school educators, specialists and school leadership to explore ways of tailoring your kitchen garden program to the curriculum. Don’t forget your pen and paper, there will be lots of information sharing, tips and ideas!

During this workshop, participants will:
- gain inspiration and strategies for curriculum integration from the SAKGF resources
- explore what curriculum integration strategies other schools and centres are using
- “dig in” to a resource and explore the curriculum links in action.

This online workshop will take place using Zoom. A link will be sent to all registered participants before the event. You can join the workshop using a computer, tablet or mobile phone.
