Would you like some inspiration for guiding your little ones in the kitchen garden program? From babies to kinder, we’ve got it covered in this online workshop, full of tips and ideas, specifically designed for the early childhood sector.
Join Laura Norton, Early Childhood Projects Coordinator, and feel empowered about building an engaging and interactive kitchen garden program to support those curious minds and little hands out in the garden as well as in the kitchen.
No matter where you are on your journey, and whether educator or service provider, this workshop will be of benefit. It’s designed to encourage you and offer up the skills to feel confident about delivering pleasurable food education at your service.
Participants will learn:
• how you can use your skills and resources to create a successful kitchen garden program at your service
• about implementing different experiences across various age groups
• how to link experiences to the EYLF
• simple, fun and practical ideas to implement in your kitchen garden program.
This online workshop will take place using Zoom. A link will be sent to all registered participants before the event. You can join the workshop using a computer, tablet or mobile phone.
A recording of the workshop will be sent to participants after the session.

The outcomes of this course are aligned to the National Quality of Standards for Early Childhood ( ASEQA). Getting Started for Early Childhood will contribute evidence towards 1.0 hours of accredited professional development in maintaining the following ASEQA standards:
