Learn how to extend your seasons for productivity in this session with garden expert Seila Hierk. In this workshop you will create protective structures for your garden that can be used to support the growth of early spring plantings for harvest before the school year finishes and then transferred to be used for shade protection for summer crops.

Seila Hierk is a very experiences and passionate grower of Asian crops and has also worked as a Garden Specialist in several Kitchen Garden Schools (currently at Aspendale Gardens PS). Seila has delivered a number of workshops with the Kitchen Garden Foundation and attendees are always inspired by Seila's enthusiasm, generous sharing spirit and wealth of knowledge.
