Regional Networking provides Program Coordinators, Kitchen and Garden Specialists and other interested staff from Kitchen Garden Schools the opportunity to meet up, to share their successes to date, network and most importantly to have fun and learn.

Details

Welcome to the our latest Rural North Victoria Regional Networking day, designed to provide participants with an opportunity to look at the Kitchen Garden Program at Daylesford Primary School as well as to visit two local suppliers.

The day begins at Daylesford PS with a kitchen garden walk and talk with the school's Specialists Sandra and Andrew. We will then move on to a local organic farm (that supplies the school with lots of donated goods) for a tour and then on to lunch at Captains Creek Organic Wines. The day will end back at Daylesford PS in order to collect cars.

Morning tea and lunch is provided, but you will be required to buy your own beverages at the winery.

There will be time for lots of sharing and networking along the way.  Please bring a camera, notebook and water, and please also remember to dress warmly (very!) – warm coats and boots are advised.

Additional Details

Participants will be responsible for their own transport but we encourage you to car pool. Please contact josie@kitchengardenfoundation.org.au if you can offer to be a driver or if you need transport on the day.
