Fundraising for your Kitchen Garden Program is very important in making it sustainable for the long term. In this workshop you will learn from brilliant chef Simon Lawson to make some simple and delicious canapés that can be served at any event you host, and would be especially suited to showcasing your Program to parents, community members and potential supporters.

Details

Simon Lawson is the Executive Chef and owner of Agape Organic Restaurant and Bar in Botany. He has a passion for using local, organic and sustainable ingredients to create beautiful seasonal dishes. He has a great ability for marrying flavours and creating dishes that are delicious and nutritious – this is what he will pass on to those lucky enough to take his workshop.

The focus of this workshop will be creating simple and delicious canapés that you and your students can make and serve at your own fundraising events. These canapés will highlight seasonal produce from the garden and will be served to the group during the wine and cheese networking hour at the end of the day.
