Chef and Collingwood College Kitchen Specialist Desley Insall has been creating beautiful, seasonal recipes based on the produce available in the garden for many years. She is passionate about presenting seasonal produce in multiple ways in an array of the most delicious dishes. Desley will get your imagination racing!

Desley has amassed a wealth of knowledge on using fresh, seasonal produce to create and adapt original recipes, and uses her boundless energy to share her methods with her kitchen classes. In this workshop the group will both write and cook recipes featuring the produce from our Learning Centre garden, and learn the tips and tricks that take a simple recipe to something really exciting. The menu for the day will be decided on the day by the group, and you will be able to sit and share your results over a glass of wine in our beautiful home-style Learning Centre kitchen.

Please wear covered shoes suitable for working in the kitchen.
Enter the College via the main reception area, which is located near the end of Cromwell Street, and follow the signs to the kitchen.
Public transport is usually the best way to get to Collingwood College, with Collingwood train station only minutes away. On Saturdays there may be limited parking in the immediate vicinity of the College. Other parking options are generally the north and south sides of Hoddle Street, in Gipps Street and in the parking zone at the end of Islington Street.
