Details

Ema Mestre was born on the island of Madeira, off Portugal, and migrated with her parents and siblings to Melbourne. She began cooking for her family at a young age, inspired by watching her grandfather grow all the food the family needed. Instilled with this love of food, she became a fine-dining corporate caterer. Ema currently volunteers in the kitchen at Meadows Primary School, and this term will be running Community Garden Adult Cooking classes.
