The Foundation is running full-day Professional Development Days for kitchen garden educators across Australia in 2020.
Each Professional Development Day offers advanced hands-on, skills-based workshops designed to help kitchen and garden specialists and educators enhance their kitchen garden program. The workshops vary every time, but you can look forward to discovering anything from cheese-making, sausage-making and espaliering fruit trees to caring for chooks.
Choose your workshop, network, build skills and have great fun with the kitchen garden community.

The PD Day opens with a warm welcome. In the morning, choose a kitchen or garden workshop where you will enjoy hands-on kitchen and garden experiences with expert guest facilitators sharing their local knowledge. Enjoy a delicious shared lunch before more skills-sharing in the afternoon. The day is designed to enhance your knowledge and skills, and to help you provide engaging and successful kitchen and garden classes and experiences in your schools and early childhood services.
At the end of the day, network, share learnings and celebrate your kitchen garden achievements over cheese and drinks.
